What the score means
A product gets its score once AnySkin has the ingredient list: one number out of 100, built from its ingredients and where they sit on the label.
- Great 80–100 No meaningful concerns for everyday use.
- Okay 60–79 Solid overall; minor caveats for some people.
- Caution 40–59 A few ingredients worth a second look.
- Avoid 0–39 Contains ingredients with well-documented concerns.
Scores describe formulas, not your skin. They're guidance, not medical advice.
Straight answers
- Can I try it before I pay?
- There is no free trial. AnySkin requires a subscription, weekly or yearly. The App Store listing shows the price in your own currency under In-App Purchases, and the app shows it again before you pay.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no account.
- Does it replace a doctor?
- No. AnySkin scores ingredients; it does not diagnose or treat anything.
- Can a brand pay for a better score?
- No. Brands cannot pay to change an Ingredient Score and cannot pay for placement.
- What does it run on?
- iPhone, with iOS 16.4 or later.
